Dug this early U.S. Navy button today in the same woods where I dug a 1785 (or 1787) Nova Constellatio Copper a couple of months ago. It's a large button (slightly smaller than a quarter) and after pulling it from the ground and wiping away the dirt, I was amazed at the condition it's in. This one goes in the case.

Excellent find!!! I haven't looked in a while, but that might be what they call a drooped wing button. WTG!!! HH

Really nice!! :o :o :o :o :o

Very Nice button.

Just wondering what kind of prices collectors are paying in U.S.A from something like that?
