I'm in the market for a new detector so I borrowed my grandpas whites 950 and used it all weekend. I got a ton of trash, a 1964 Washington quarter, and this bracelet stamped "925 Mexico" even after a lot of cleaning its pretty tarnished. It's huge though, my biggest silver yet.

That a HUGE chunk of 925. Nice !

That's quite the hunk of silver....must have blown your earphones off...lol.
Any idea as to weight?

Cool find, nice chunk

Wow, great find.

Awsome piece I bet that blew your ears off.

im no expert by ANY means but i bet thats at least 2-3 oz worth, possibly $150-200 something range? just a guess

Thanks guys! I don't know about the weight yet but I plan on weighing it in my physics class room tomorow! The detector was going crazy but when I started digging it looked like a can at first because of the size lol

wow that thing is huge

Every time you go out you find amazing things.

great bracelet, it'll be interesting to see it's weight

Thanks! Not every time though! I wish! Iv been detecting every day for a while now and only have stuff worth posting like once a week or so. I want to get in to the old stuff more but i haven't had as much luck with that. And I don't get much gold, still plenty on the check list

Ya I thought it was the top of a can at first because of how it sat in the hole

Does any one know how to get rid of the rest of the tarnish without buying silver cleaner or something like that, I just can't get it clean

WOW ! That is one big hunk of silver ! Congrats

Try using some baking soda and a little water . It will make a paste that you can rub onto the silver . Works great !
