Hit a local pool today and ended up hitting a really odd "cache". 41 blobs of former coins, 11 ChuckECheese tokens, and a smattering of clad. 62 items in total. Thought I hit the mother load until I could get good light on the coins. I'm not sure what someone flattened the coins with as they weren't uniformly flat (like they've been run over by a train). I could still make out some of the lettering and images on them and I suspect they're all clad based.

For the Cheese enthusiasts, the oldest one was 1993

Crazy find. I can't imagine why someone would have left it there on purpose but there's too much there to believe it was a coin spill.

COOOOL :laughing7: on the Chuck-E-Rat tokens :laughing7:

& Welcome

on the Trashed coins if they are Zinc Lincoln cents (Zinclon's)
that's par for the course. They Rot quickly.

Of course someone may have buried them on purpose as a joke,
I Know I plan to with all my rotted Zinks one day

WELCOME TO T-NET! :hello: :occasion18: :icon_thumleft: Besides someone deliberately burying them for a joke, instead it could've been a young kid's cache, due to large # of cheesy tokens, lol. HAVE FUN AND BE SURE TO POST YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE! Andi

Nice finds Fourman.

those are very nice finds!

Just a guess. We used to put coins on the RR track and the train would flatten them like this.
