Well I'll start this on a HIGH note.. I stopped in a Dart Bank and picked up two boxes of dimes.. One was a brick 2012 d box. So I headed to my credit union to dump. After getting to the teller. I gave her the box and then gave the coin tray a glance. Lo and behold $4.75 in silver Washington's. Yeap 19 quarters 64' - 40'.. $107.52 for $4.75.. Yay I'll take a brick everyday for that.. :-D

I haven't posted on this in forever because I've figured a few dimes a day wouldn't excite anyone one. But this was a decent little haul so I thought I'd share it. Got 9 dimes including the Merc's which are a 1917 and a 1924 d. Then the next I got two hundred in customer wrapped halves. Total 5 40% and one 90%er.. :-)

I haven't posted my dime finds in ages cuz I'm to lazy. I got two today so I went to the LCS and bought early goodies, Lol. A bunch of S mint silver state quarters, a '96 silver quarter. I love the new silver quarters especially for melt 1% back. Probably more silver too with zero wear. Lol

Glad too see you got some Proof State Quarters, I found one in the wild, and it's one of my favorite coins

I found a state quarter too, in my dads change jar, Lol. i don't. See my parents much but when I make it there I always peek my pops change jar. Lol. Glad to see you are back at it. I've still been at it in fact I've done well the last couple months just have fizzled on posting every find.. I'm up to 3 1/2 rolls of dimes + 13 mercurys, 9 rolls of 40%ers, 1 1/2 rolls of quarters and 25 war nickels CRHing. I am very addicted and work around work to feed the addiction. I bought a lot beside that to. Lol. Good hunting bud!

Holy! You're beating me! I got 5 1/2 rolls of quarters (lmfao) 0 halves, (well, I traded my 40%'ers for 3 90%'ers) and I got like 6 mercs, maybe 25 rosies, and 25ish war nickels. (sold 10 when i first started, regret that)
I'm going to crank out boxes and bags and rolls so fast this week, i really hope by the end of the week, i've made record finds lol. High hopes I know! But can be done yea?

Don't handle those quarters in your hand. A few of them are worth over melt.

Yeah they are a little bit but I don't know if I will really take extra care just for the buck or two. My LCS comes across open proof quite a bit and sells them to me at melt. Personally I'd rather have thr new silver than the worn out smooth stuff. I figure if people are dumb enough that they won't allow trade if you have newer proof silver and demand the pre 65 stuff than they need another way to save their assets. Because silver isn't their way. Lol

Any 1999s are worth $45.

I was searching CWR nickels which I do every blue moon and along with many random yet common foreign coinage I found a 1903 philippines 5 centavos. I don't believe it actually would qualify as foreign since they were a possession in 1903 and the coin is marked United States of America.. :-)
