Fantastic saves ! I imagine some of those bottles can fetch a pretty penny ! I used to dig a lot of bottles from a dump near Helena,Montana in the 60's and early
70's -

It sounds like some tough conditions to dig. However, I can guarantee you that you will find a LOT more stuff if you sift. You will find clay pipes, porcelain buttons, more bottles, ink wells, etc. I had a friend in Virginia who used to go by the "Labor Ready" place and hire diggers while we sat in the shade and cleaned what they dug out. But those days are long gone, now can't afford to hire help any more.

Thanks, ya that was a heart breaker and apparently very rare in amber color.

Digging labor sounds great but scares me when it comes to bottles.
