My favorite design

I find mostly cord marked and plain pottery so when I see this design I keep it. Hopefully one day I will have a whole frame of it.

Most that I have found have no design at all. I found 2 last year that actually had design in Central Georgia. I really like the middle piece.

I’m in the same boat, I’ve got only 1 piece that’s different it’s a dimpled rim section.

That’s some different colors from what I find. Once in a blue moon I will find a red color but almost all is brown. I believe the plain is the oldest. I used to know all the pottery types but I’m more into points now.
