Another Pendant

Found this one today in a creek here in NW Georgia. Let’s see if you remember the guy who responded to my post 😃
This pendant is pottery my last one was stone but I got to thinking about it and it might be made from Grit Pottery which feels like stone.

Well I'd want to know it's authinsity myself if I had these before I did "anthing " with them ! Try to contact a person or company that deals in such items for proof of their source . then you'll know the route to take !

Good quality shoes and an inversion table helped my back immensely.

Some say Disc so it’s still not known for sure.
Some say Spindle Whorl but it’s pottery and I doubt it would weigh enough to work. I believe a disc would make more sense seeing the hole is in the center.

Many spindle whorls were made from pottery. This shell tempered example from R.I. shows the maker’s fingerprints.
