I am still a newbie. I've only been detecting a few months and have only been out about six times so far. So far all I have found is clad coins and the 50 cent piece is no exception it is a 1971. But it is the best coin so far, and i am certainly not complaining. I love this hobbie and am still learning. So hopefully as I learn better places to go and learn my machine better the finds will get better too. So happy hunting to all of you everyone on here has been a great teacher to me, and thanks to Chetler who sold me my first good machine.
