I finally had the opportunity to travel far enough north to leave the land of hand rolled coins and boxes, and meet the land of of counting machines and coin bags. I was only there for a short time, but purchased one $500 bag. I was almost sure that they were all dumps, but I entered into the exercise in futility.
The results were better then expected. I found three keepers. One BU 1965- 40% and two BU 1964- 90%. The condition of these coins were suprising. I also found 40 cents in extra change, 3 dimes, 1 nickel and 5 pennies. Are these extra coins normal in bags?
