Went out for a hunt this morning to a regular area of mine to get a little bit of detecting in before the rain set in, and the very first hole I dug was a 1903 Barber Quarter. It's not my best find, but it's the first Barber Quarter I've found so I was thrilled. I also found a handful of bullets. I hope the weather gets better here soon so I can get back out and do some more digging!

The bullet on the left is a 69 cal. I'm not sure what the skinny one on the right is. I've dug a lot of bullets and never found one like it. At first I thought it was a Whitworth, but I don't think Whitworths have rings on them. Maybe someone on here who knows more about CW bullets can tell me what kind of bullet it is

Nice detail congrats!

Nice detail on the quarter!

Way to go on your first Barber quarter. Quite a nice coin to boot. Looks like it could be a technical XF.

Congrats on your first Barber Quarter
