Wow popped this baby outa the front yard of a 1880's brick home. Dug what seemed like hundreds of wheats, in one hour, I finally quit them and started to cherry pick. Got a quarter signal and lazily dug this one. Spent an hour here till I got a little uncomfortable about digging in someone's front yard.
Quarter was I'd say, about 2 or 3 inches deep.
Might be worth a trip back.

It's awesome seeing quarter-sized silver in a hole, ain't it? ;D
Especially when it's old!
Congrats on the first!

nice job on the barber quarter! If you were given permission to hunt their yard then you should definatly go back!

Yeah, saw the white rim first and figured it to be a silver Washington. Nice surprise. AMC

Congratulations on the first barber. Any quarter is nice but a barber is special

Way To Go, Nice Barber. Any silver is good, but that is really special.
Congratulations, (blklab)

Way to go on your first Barbie Quarter!!

I'd definitely go back there if you were digging a bunch of wheats. Just take extra care when you make plugs..take your time.

Congrats,

Great coin
Bet there's a bunch of silver dimes in that yard too

Congradulations!!!!!!!

My first was an 1916-D, in AU condition. Except for the 1/2" gash that I put on it with my digging tool. I still look at it fondly, and well, cry. You dug a beauty there, congrates.

Congrats on your first, I got my first this year too. You should definitely go back, who knows what's still there?
Good Luck :icon_thumleft:
