I picked up a box of halves and one of dimes today. I'm about halfway through my halves and little bit into my dimes and I was getting discourage when I found a 1968 40%er. I almost through with the rest.

False, silver ended in Panama in 1970, other than proofs. They are all US minted. A 1996 Balboa is worth $1.50 in VF, and $3.50 in XF.

Yes, as 1971 and 1972 were only proofs and not issued for circulation. Panama has gaps in terms of issuing coins. Clad started in 1973.
