My first couple of finds!!!

Twenty five years ago a salvage crew, while trying to bring in the booty, lost a 600lb wing of a propeller blade, made of copper. Everyone had an idea where it was, about 5m away from the wharf, but no diver could find it. I went for a look with my Excal 1000, low and behold, it was right where they said it should be. Only I could not see it because it was covered by a couple of tons of cement blocks from an old wharf. But that metal detector was whistling like a son of a b!$#%. Any ideas on how to excavate this cheaply without blowing the new wharf? That would not hold well with the fishermen. I also found a dead dog, I first thought it was a horse, it was hugh, but not worth a cent, so I left it on the bottom.

Welcome to the forum, Ludlow. Like detect for food said....you won't know what you've found until you see it....it could be anything.....boat anchor, car bumper, rebar, treasure chest.....

Nice picture of yourself.....good looking addition to Tnet. ;)
