My First Crotal Bell !!

Today I went back to my farm in the late morning. Only had a few hours of play time. My main goal for today was to find one of the original homesteads on the property. There was a lot of jumping around field to field looking for the high concentrated areas. I did find two potential areas for later this month. Today I managed to pull out a beautiful "Krampus" I mean crotal bell, a small brooch, old medicine bottle, and this decorative claw piece . Also found a old bottle dump by accident. Tons of old cloudy black, green, clear glass. The claw is made of brass and most likely was off a piece of furniture. Don't know the age. The crotal bell is a first for me. I have been talking about finding one for awhile now so this is a exciting find for me. Not to familiar with old glass so if anyone has any info please leave a comment. Thanks for looking GL&HH

Congratulations on your first Crotal Bell, it's a nice one! Does it still ring? With a little effort I've been able to loosen the 'pea' in several of mine. I hang one of them around my neck when I hunt the woods during bear season so they can hear me coming.

That's a SWEET crotal bell! I found my first recently and found markings on it,a number 2 and makers mark(SN). Seth North is the maker on mine,perhaps yours has initials also? Did I mention...SWEET bell!!
