So as you may already know, I got a Sovereign GT the other day from the Minelab dealer in Madrid.
I got a chance to go out with it today, did the beach in front of my appartment. Found a LOT of nails, screws, pulltabs, aluminum foil, fishing tackle, bottle caps, etc. etc. etc. but at the end I had about 11.30 in Euros. Found one spot near a volleyball court where there was 9 Euros in a cluster, 4x 2 and a single. Someone must have sat down and lost their pocketfull of change or something.
There was one other coin, not anything that I recognized so I assume an older Spanish clad (Pesetas).
Anyways, a fun first day out pretty much digging any strong signal I got. Hard to differentiate between crap and the good stuff.
Can any of you please share with me your typical beach settings for the Sovereign? I would search the forum but unfortunately that has been disabled due to bandwidth restrictions. I assume this will improve with the new server but any help you can provide in the meantime woule be much appreciated!
