My first dream box...or at least my best box ever???

Hey guys. I've been slowly searching 3 half boxes I picked up on Friday. So far the first two boxes only produced one 40%. But I just opened the last box and I was very happy to find a bunch of enders....at least 8 x 40% including 2 double enders - my first double enders ever!

I got these boxes from the same bank I got a great 36 keeper box (my second best box ever) just the day before. And all the boxes had the same code on them too. Well that 36 keeper box I got on Thursday strangely only had one ender (the very first roll lol). And I know enders don't always indicate very accurately how many total silver there might be but I have a very good feeling about this box, esp with 2 double ender rolls. So before I get started I thought Id see if any of u all would care to make a guess on what my total might be for the box. Its a flat String box so I haven't even looked at the other ends of all the rolls but like I said I counted at least 8 x 40% enders including 2 double ender rolls.

I know it may be a long shot to hope this might be my first 100 keeper dream box but it just might at least be my best box ever. My best box ever was a 38 keeper box with 27 x 90% and 11 x 40% I got a little over two years ago. Since the keepers in that box were mostly 90% I always figured that box would be tough to beat - but this just might be the box to do it. I sure hope I'm not being too hopeful and don't just wind up with 10-12 total keepers lol.

Well, no prizes but feel free to make your guesses and wish me luck. I'll be posting results and hopefully pics of stacks of silver porn later today.

Btw, I just remembered - this just happens to be my 50th half box of the year. Just thought that was kinda interesting and a good way to celebrate and finish 50 searched boxes so far this year lol.

Thanks, that goes double for me lol. I was thinking at first I might have a 100+ keeper box easy but it just didn't happen. But I'll take whatever I can get. And if I can get more great boxes from that same bank maybe there's still a dream box for me yet to come.

Well guys, it wasn't the dream box I had hoped for and I havent done the exact calculation comparison yet but I think it qualifies as my best box ever in terms of total silver. The box total was 80 x 40% silver keepers. Unfortunately no 90% keepers but I sure cant complain with 4 rolls of 40% silver from just one box. The three best rolls had 7 x 40% each including the very first roll and two of the single ender rolls. One of the double ender rolls had 6 x 40% total and the other double ender roll had 4 x 40% total.

And I sure hope I tapped a silver vein with boxes at this bank and there's still more loaded boxes to come.

Btw, I think Joe777Cool had the closest guess with 77.

Thanks Gary. All the 80 keepers were '65-'69. I still haven't found my first '70D or '70S half yet. I got two more boxes from that same bank on Thursday and when I first saw the boxes I noticed right away the boxes looked much newer and in better condition than the older worn out boxes I've been getting from that bank lately. So I thought that might be a bad sign and it was - both boxes were skunks. But Im hoping there still might be some more good boxes from that bank yet to come. Its just so difficult to know what to expect from box to box with this hobby, but that's what keeps it interesting and fun - esp with boxes like these.
