My First Find

[Zogman100]

First night out in the back yard getting used to the new unit. Not a real exciting find but hey, it is my first! Piece of a small toy truck found about 6-7 inches deep. Need to hone my pin pointing skills a bit but practice make perfect. Now it's been wet and rainy for the past few days so haven't been out since. Looking forward to getting back out for some more practice.

Nice first find! Beats a pull tab any day. Good depth too!
Best of luck and HH,

Nice find Zogman100! I wonder if it is this truck I found on EBay: Zylmex Military Cargo Truck

[Zogman100]

Sweet, that's exactly what it is, looking close at it I can see the cameo (and I guess the stamping that says Zylmex Cargo Truck T433 is a giveaway ) Thanks for looking that up. May have to pop open that hole and see if I can dig up the rest of it!

Keep that puppy since it was your first find Zogman100. My first find was a pull tab and I have it framed and on the wall!

Congratulations on your first find and welcome to TNet! You are off and running!

[Zogman100]

I'll have to find a safe place for all my "treasures" since my wife is the anti-hoarder and things she finds laying around tend to end up in the trash.

I have to disagree. I think finding one's first item is VERY exciting! Maybe more so than any other. Up to that point you just think that it's probably all just a lie. Then, you ACTUALLY find something! From there on, well, you know.

Congrats!

Happy Hunting!

Just tell people that your first ever find was a truck bed and they will be shocked! Your find is what detecting is all about, Learning the machine. Keep at it as things will improve as next you will find a pull tab or two............63kpkr
