today after work i decided to use the last 15 min of day light and bust out my md at a little teany park down the road.(When i say small, i mean like smaller than my front yard.) Any ways i am sorta new to the hobby and haven't really had the luck i was hoping for. But lately i have been reading a pile of treasure mags from the 70's and 80's and have learned a few things. So i turned on my Whites Classic ID and told myself that i was gonna go slow instead of just looking for the easy coins. And not ten minutes into my hunt i got a nice hit. thinking i had found a screw cap i set my machine down and cut my plug, when i pulled out the plug i saw a like speck of metal poking out of the bottom. yep just another screw cap i thought, but as i opened the bottom of the plug i was amazed to see a mens gold wedding ring fall out. 10k gold with three diamonds smaller than pin heads but diamonds none the less. i am remotivated like i would never have imagined

Congrats and welcome to the fever. But hey, go ahead and get those fast coins too! The parks and especially the playgrounds and sledding hills are the place to look. Under the swings, slides and anywhere kids can hang upside down.

Now get us a pic if you can!

i will try. my camera hasent been workin right.

WAY TO GO,ORIEN-I AM UP HERE IN MICHIGAN,GLAD TO HEAR YOU FOUND A RING-UP HERE IN THE NORTH WE ARE WAITING FOR SPRING!!!

Congrats on the gold ring. This is quite an accomplishment, I have found nice silver rings before but never gold. Just remember a place is never hunted out, take the time and you will reap the rewards.

No gold up here in vermont, just ice and snow. The weather is warming up but when I checked today the ground is thawed only about an inch. Nice going on the ring....Lance

Chris,
That is a beautiful ring! Congratulations. Like Darla, I too have found numerous silver rings over the years but am still waiting for that elusive gold ring. Keep up the good work.
