My first old token! Can't find one like it online...

This token is about the size of a dime and is octagonal. One side says, "Good only for merchandise at the company store." The other side says Bridgeport Texas Coal Company. From what I read, the workers were given these to exchange at the company store. Any information anyone can add would be a great help. Pretty stoked as I thought it was trash but kept it because of the weird shape. Also including the James Avery silver ring I found yesterday.

Very cool token and nice silver ring, congrats

Token appears to be a bi-metallic version, which probably had an aluminum piece in the middle, where it may have said "Good for", and a amount.
Very nice finds!

Looks like a company store token turned washer.

People would work and get paid in company tokens that they could only spend at the company store... Basically working for fake money that they gave back to their employer in trade for food and goods to live...

SUPER NICE!!! Were these lake finds??????

No I found them at schools!
