My First Ring!

Had a good hunt today.
Mac232 and I went to an old high school
football field. We dug quite a handfull of clad
and older cents (no wheats). We were just about to leave
when my wife called and said she wa bringing us some
drinks and snacks...I love my wife. We rested for a bit
and I got up and started swinging again. I got a strong
dime signal on my Landstar. Started digging and couldn't
find the dime...Swung the coil back over the plug and BEEP!
I mashed up the plug with my hands...still no dime. I was
just about to cover the hole and chalk it up to a phantom
signal when this fell out......needless to say, I did the
HAPPY DANCE!

congrats on your first ring. Mine was a junk one but my son's first was a sterling silver. Can't beat that feeling when a ring comes out of the ground....except for maybe a nice old coin!

Congrats, Levisdad, My first ring was a large silver plated Toe Ring, found at the beach. I was happy as it was my first. Now on to your first gold & diamond ring.

p.s. Here is our first ring found last summer. My heart started thumping pretty good until I realized it was a kid's ring. Still had a lot of fun.

Good job! Rings are found when you least expect it. My son and I found our first ring together. While walking back to the car, it was one of the last beeps for the day, a silver ring with a turquoise stone. We high fived each other several times. When we got home he could not wait to give it to his mom. Man, was he beaming! I'll never forget that day.

WOW, a lot of great rings, can't wait to find my first "REAL" ring. My 1st, 2nd & third rings were steel and aluminum from 50cent machines. Keep it up...
