hello all,i've had my at pro for just a few months,so I'm still a noob I guess.i actually found gold before silver when I found a 10k men wedding band.i hunt a old and present campground that's been in use sinse the 40's.i found a couple of 40's nickles.a.45 and 46,and about $70.00 in clad so far,so I figured there had to be silver somewhere.theres a lodge built in the 1930's across the street from the campground I also detect from time to time.i decided to try close to the lodge this time, there was a gap between some bushes barely wide enough to get a good swing in and I got a sweet high tone and vdi in the 90's.out popped a 1945 waking liberty half dollar at 3 inches.i'm sure someone heard my holler hehe.i know its not much for some of you pro's,but a big deal for me.heres a quick pic.thanks for looking.

DN, Great save, congrats. Also, as a fellow ATPro jockey, I appreciate your info on the VDI, tone, and depth of the find. I haven't found any silver coins larger than a dime yet, but still trying. Sub 8-)

Nice walker. Large silvers gets all of our hearts thumping louder. Found one about two weeks ago and it reminded me of what a special coin they are.

Nice score

Even the most experienced don't find many of those. You'll look at it a thousand times, you'll have trouble putting it down and most of all You'll Want More !!!
It only happens if your coil is over it.
A good day for any detectorists, noob or seasoned.

Between work and weather I've been having a hard time getting out. I'm jealous as can be, but happy to see others success.
