Over at the Steelhead river, following the paths to the best fishing holes -

Ding ding! Great, add another nail/bottle cap/Pull tab to the bag.

Small rusty bottle cap came out - checked the hole - buzz buzz?

Brushed the side of the hole - and there it was - 1913 Barber dime!

Gosh, Prettier than pull tab silver.

I made some noise - :laughing7:

Yep, when I first seen the edge, I knew it was real silver, then seen the back, no rosie here! OMG

Did not rub, used twig to knock off excess dirt - Made noise!
 

Big Congrats, I know of there noises you speak of, I made a few when I found my first also!! it was a 1912s barber Dime. Big First Silver Congrats!!
