I am very new to this hobby but I believe I am already addicted. I went yesterday after work to search this old church yard that I got permission on. The church was built in the 30's but there was a house there in the 1800's so I am hopeful of finding some older history relics there. Anyhow, I found several pennies and a 1951 Wheat penny, a good luck token addressed to Annie Lee Burroughs, a copper token of James Madison I believe from the 30' or 40's, and old brass buckle, a Bronson cigarette case / lighter, harmonica pieces, an old master key, costume jewelry dog and last but not least a WWII Officers Dress hat insignia. The silver part of the insignia says sterling and the gold part says 1/20 12K. I dug a lot of junk there also but this was my first real treasure and I will definitely be going back to see what else I can uncover.
