i have had a few differant opinion's just wondering if there where any real button collectors on there that would know what a collector would pay for this. i know it lost somw value with the hole and missing the shank. if i diside to sell this i would like to have a good idea where to start for a asking price.

I'm pretty sure Heritage auction www.ha.com has sold a few of these you can do a archive search to check for price or they have a free appraisal service ,but you need to sign up(it's free) to do either one of those options
