My latest upcycle creation

It was a bowling ball...and now it's a yard gazing ball...I titled it, Happiness Globe

My wife has that exact same stand...puts a plant on top of it. I almost knock it over every time I walk across my deck.

That's nice vibes. What do you use as a fixative, ordinary plaster? and do you use of fragments of pottery that you have found. I like the idea of doing something like that myself. Perhaps start off with something small like a placemat. It's lovely.

Hello vibes, OkieHillBillie here any thing that brings hppiness or sunshine in the winter is wonderful, it would be pretty cold in arkansas crystal mine.

Hey unicorn Hope all is happy and sassy your way!

I use goop to adhere the shards, or whatever I'm working with....then after it 'sets' I use sanded grout.
Oh I definitely use all the shards I find md'ing. Even bottles, marbles, rusted iron pieces....whatever tickles me at the time. This is my contemplation time.

OkieHB....Oh the latest creation I'm working on has tons of crystals I found in AR...of course I didn't use the clear pieces, just the milky quartz ones. Why not, eh?
