Went up to the NC mountains with Ridley yesterday to trim weeds on my lot.
My finds find was pitiful. An old button was my only keeper.

*Three bee stings.
*One old button.
*Modern Clad.

We are trying to gain permission to the old school house (church?) you see pictured.
Hopefully it will be a future silver site for us.

Don't take the wrong way but you had a find much more important than that great button, you got to spend time hunting with a buddy. That in itself is a valuable find to me.

Nothing measley about this post. I think you have found some really nice things. I can't wait to find out what y'all find at the school. Looks more like a school than a church to me. Sorry to hear about the bee stings. I know the feeling, I got stung by a ground hornet and man, I was out of action for 3 days.

Neat button! Ouch on the Bee stings. You might offer to mow the grass around the church in trade to hunt it, you would also get closer to the ground, that looks like a tough hunt the way it is. HH, Mike

I'd have been hootin' and hollerin' with finds like that! What's the back of the button look like, any lettering? The hubby would have been hootin' and hollerin' over the bee stings, he swells up like Popeye! Bee carefull and good luck with the school.
