I decided to take my camera and walk the trails again this morning. I spooked a big deer, but didn't get the pic. I also spooked a turkey again and heard a couple. So, we have wild turkeys this year. Kinda of cool. So, the only pics I took were of stationary (mostly) objects.

Here are two sides of the creek where I crossed.

I always liked these wild flowers.

After I took that pic, I looked down and was surprised to see this right in front of me. I narrowed it down to just 3 pics. I couldn't decide which one I liked best.

Then I walked up on the remains of somebody's dinner.

I sat in the cemetery to cool down and the birds weren't cooperating so, I took this pic just because.

Thanks for looking!

All nice pics!......I have lots of those blue wildflowers. I recently learned that they are ' Chicory. "

Thank you. Chicory, huh? I am going to the web. I have always wondered what they were called.

Nice summery pictures. They will be nice to wistfully look at in the winter when there's 6" snow on the ground and 5 above zero with a 20 m.p.h. wind blowing.

Love it all! nature is always the best place to relax <3

ARGH! Don't remind me! lol!

OOH! Chicory can be used to augment coffee supplies. he leaves are edible, but bitter. There are ways to cook them to lessen the bitterness.

Here’s some summer pics for ecmo.

That was with my iPhone . I forgot my camera again. I want to use my camera but I don’t know how long they will last.

Sis, check back in my posts 'til you find the video of the tom following me around. He was showing off to the hens nearby. ╦╦Ç

I will try. Was it recent? Is it in MDS?

It was maybe 7-8 months ago. I post a lot but look in the gold prospecting forum. I am busy this weekend (snicker) and if you don't see it by Monday, I'll help look for you. He is strutting his best finery for the ladies and think it is very COOL! ╦╦Ç

Sis, I believe it is my video entitled Tom Turkey Today of April 19, 2017. I STILL cannot view videos on both my laptops .... just a black screen. I believe this is the one. If it is, it will show him spreading the plumage. ╦╦Ç

I couldn't find it. If you ever come across it, copy the thread or even the video link and repost it here. :icon_thumright:

Thanks for showing the beautiful pics. Any Hummingbirds?
