Just purchased this antique "microbe killer " jug in near mint shape with plug for 30.00 from a yard sale? The sign said "yard sale", but the place looked like a antique store! I just had to buy something...There was on I saw on ebay sold for 135+ w/ shipping, and it had crack and chip, so I'm assuming mine is worth about 175.00
Here is my new addition

Nice buy Sterling. Thanks for sharing...

Had this jug been made into a lamp at one time or is the metal piece on top native to the piece? Either way, it is a cool piece. Surprising that an antique store would under value this so much.

Nice salt glazed stoneware jug! Here's all you ever wanted to know about Wm. Radam's Microbe Killer, and then some- RADAMS MICROBE KILLER - RICKS BOTTLE ROOM.COM I'm interested to know whether that was actually made into a lamp myself. A hole in the bottom would hurt the value somewhat.

No hole underneath this jug, but it looks like a shrader valve stem to me almost..I was told by the gentleman that it was used in the medical field...I think the reason he sold it to me so cheap was that he is 92 years of age, and slowly liquidating his assets...

Thx again "Dig" for the info on the company!
