My new dansco 7070 thread

You're off to a great start! IMHO, a type set is a more feasible, beautiful, and more rewarding than a date-and-mintmark set. Building an attractive type set will make you learn so much about the coin collecting hobby. Mine is nearly complete, and I feel that it is my greatest numismatic accomplishment. Just waiting for a chance to get some nice seated dollars without breaking the bank.
Those are tough to find at a reasonable price. They were one of the last things I bought.

Got my gold page today! Popped in my type 3 gold dollar! Take a look ....

Added some coins today. Updated my bronze oak wreath Indian, bought a 1851 3 cent silver, a war nickel, a 1917 d standing liberty quarter type 1, and a 1923 peace dollar.

thanks! FYI: the 7070 album is out of print and can cost a pretty penny... Apparently they're still in the process of updating it... Since 2011? Anyway I plan on filling it at my own pace... I am waiting for the gold page in the mail.
Not surprising. I had to call them once to get some of the clear plastic slides replaced. Dansco is barely more that some guy and a couple of employees working out of a 2 car garage.. But they make great albums. My entire collection is in Dansco albums (probably 20+ books)

Added this silver washington half to the commemorative section.

Added the flying eagle cent, the no rays shield nickel and the 1854 half dime through a trade and then bout the type 1 gold dollar and the 1909 vdb for a deal I couldn't pass up.. Without further a due..

It's been awhile! I added an 1865 2 cent piece, and a 1875-S twenty cent piece to my dansco 7070... Let me know what you all think of the additions!

Both cool coins! I love the odd denom coins - most people have no idea the US ever made them.

Thanks! If anyone is looking to trade coins over treasure net let me know! I'm looking for type coins for my 7070 and also a low grade 32 D Washington. Looking for oregon trail half... PM me!

I may buy one of these books to finish off my sets... Although it may take the rest of my life to get them all! Esp 2 double eagles! Nice set!

thank you!! The album is not being made anymore and people are charging pretty high rates for it :/

Lol I quickly talked myself out of it before I bought it. Maybe a Christmas present for myself!

Cool- thanks! I had a 1800 half dime... But I just sold it, it was in horrible condition. But gonna wish I kept it if I had the book.

There was a 1926 Oregon Trail Commemorative at a local Antique Shop a few Days Ago , that was priced around a 100$
Thee Condition looked nice to me , ? Cleaned (I could not tell right off hand) Forgot my loop, but if I had an Extra Bill laying around I would likely buy it for myself.

If it does not have to be perfect ,I can check it out for you and give you the sellers Ph# if you like.
Pm.me if you want.
Davers
