Went to the park today, which was part of a fort a long time ago, and found a 1900 V-nickel in bad shape, pretty old for north Idaho though. My oldest coin by a couple of years. I wish it would have been a year older.

I also found some old cases and one complete with bullet. The complete one is a 45-70 from 5-1884 as an R and a F on it. the oldest has no visible primer dated 5-81 also R F. I have found lots of cases from the fort but very few complete shells. The other coin is a wheat that I can't read the date. The pocket watch back is an Arnold Adams. Also found a couple of bucks in clad and lots of trash.

Nice! thanks for sharing. An old fort is prime hunting ground........

Congrats on the great finds! Congrats on the oldest coin to date. I love the old bullets and casings! You have some great Frankford Arsenal casings (and bullet) there.
