Went out last night to the place I have hunted twice already. Mastereagle got permission from his wife to go this time and we went really super slow over the entire yard and basically dug everything that wasn't iron. It's amazing what we found. Last time I thought we had cleaned up pretty well. Guess not.

Here is a pic of everything:

Found a few good things. A musket ball, 2 buttons, 1945 Merc, 1919 Wheatie and an 1864 Indian Head. Man, my oldest coin!! :hello2:

I also found the bottle the indian is laying on. No big deal...just thought I would mention that.

An old cufflink:

By the way....I didn't stratch her...that's just how she came out of the ground. I guess 145 years will give ya a few scratches.

All and all...not a bad hunt. I was super stoked to find that 1864 Indian. We just don't find coins that age around here very often.

Thanks for looking.

WTG!!!! Awesome digs!!

Congrats on your oldest coin. Makes me feel good as well when I find a coin that dates back to the beginning of our settlement. I just found a 64 a couple days ago but mine was the fatty version of that coin. Good luck on finding more.

Nice digs! The whatz it is a coullet of some sort. Hope I spelled coullet right!! :icon_thumright:

Huckleberry~ You mean the cuff link?

Coffee2 ~ Thank ya!

Wallhangers~ Thanks. I know it might not even be worth much, but I just love holding that kind of history in my hands.

ewcoinhunter~ Thanks for the info.

Holy Moly...Look what me and Mastereagle just discovered. The scratches on my Indian Head are not scratches.

Together we make a Brain. :laughing7:
