My Oldest Silvers (So Far)

Everyone loves silver, but here are some of my oldest. All found in Bangor, Maine.

1790 1/2 reale.

1835 5 cents.

1836 10 cents.

1853 half dime.

I'm back in Maine now and can't wait for the snow to melt!

Btw I’m quite jealous of those beautiful capped silvers! I’m yet to find a capped or draped silver. I’ve found 1600s coins and lots of Spanish silvers....but the early 1800s American silvers escape me. I’m going to concentrate on some more modern sites this season. I say that every season but I somehow always end up getting sucked back in to searching out the earliest sites. This season I swear I’m not going to do that lol.
