If I never find another pull tab in the future, I will never forget the thrill-shock-can't believe my eyes moment today. Many hours of beach hunting this year had been less than exciting, but the knowledge that somehow, somewhere there WAS gonna be a moment like that keeps us swinging. I saw the bling and chain in my scoop and without even looking at it again, slipped it into my pants pocket. Too much to take in at the moment, so I decided not to look at it until I was finished for the day. I kept swinging for another hour and then reached into my pocket and yes, it was there. I looked at it quickly and saw the wedding set, starfish locket, and a cool mother of pearl and silver piece. All four pieces were strung on a chain. It's funny but I never thought of whether or not the diamonds were real. The whole experience was priceless. I will post a followup when I have the appraisal done. Real or not, the items are not for sale! DSCF0043.JPG

Wow! I'll bet someone was heartbroken to have lost such beautiful jewelry! Very nice finds

Just a hunch..........All real. Too nice to not be the genuine article. Congratulations!

Not a big jewelry guy but that's killer! You're like me....I never look at my dug coins until I get home. I just put em in my keeper case and hope for the best. It's funny how this hobby will give you something special just when you're losing faith

Awesome. What karat is the ring?

Just left Cape May for the week. I have been swinging there for over four years for our annual weekly vacation and have never found any kind of jewelry. Congrats on your finds. You keep me motivated for next year. Did you find it in the wet or dry sand?

Any jewelery find is sweet, but finding platinum makes it that much sweeter Dave! :occasion14:

Congrats,
Dave

Wow,I mean WOW,,!!!very nice that's the stuff that keeps us all swinging

Welcome to the believers club! No ones believes until it happens to them!

:weee: Congrats.Thats realy awesome.

Wow! They packaged it up nice for you. Congrats!

Someone was probably trying to put all their rings on their chain so they wouldn't lose them. Apparently it didn't work. They look real to me! And boy that sure is a big stone! Why can't I find something like this at the beach? Just got my Garrett sea hunter a week ago and used it for the first time yesterday. Found a couple sinkers and trash. Hey pros out there, any tips for me? Haha.

ACE 250- jewelry mode-dry sand. All I can say is that I never in my wildest dreams...........I used to live outside of Auburn!

Howdy, all I can say is "never in my wildest dreams......." I normally have trouble buying a cup of coffee with the change I find in 3-4 hrs!

Fantastic and amazing findings!

Wow! Finding that in your scoop sure would open your eyes! I hope it is all real.

A dream find for sure.

Any updates? Did you have the ring appraised? I can't believe this thread didn't get more attention. I guess the its all about the thread title.

Got my popcorn out , waiting to hear of appraisal , if we can be so lucky!
