Hi everyone, starting this thread to document my prospecting from the beginning.

Here is a pic of the backpack highbanker I am putting together. It is 9x3x50. It is pieced together.

I am running gold hog mats. The order is UR - Talon,Talon - Motherload - Talon,Talon - Motherload. I built my own collapsible stand with 35 inch legs.

My Grandfather left me a nice Gold drum drywasher/wet. It is here is a pic. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1522298744.148847.jpg
It is 5 feet deep with a 3 foot mouth. He hand made the inner spiral and welded a 1 inch lip top stop gold loss. I have a nice axle to install under it or I may just put it on a small trailer I built, haven’t decided.

Way cool Diesel, can't wait to see pictures of it running! There have been many posts on TNET about the size of pumps needed for various sizes of sluices/high bankers, possibly you've already gone through many of them and have your system all specified. Looking forward to seeing it in action............63bkpkr

Here is a link to my first test run.

I am going to drill more holes so I will be able to fine tune my flow rate vs angle of decent.

The legs adjust height and swivel so I can fold it up

Did a Little Rock hounding and test panning today. Couldn’t have been a more beautiful day!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1523849022.474488.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1523849038.880589.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1523849108.934233.jpg

Here is a video of my backpack highbanker running some paydirt I wasn’t able to pan on my adventure today.

I have set it up small enough to fit in my Teton 5200. That leaves my enough room for roughly a weeks worth rations.
