I have always loved the War of 1812 era Artillery buttons with the eagle perched on a cannon. Ever since I first saw a picture of one in Albert's button book I wanted to dig one. It took a few years to find my first (top row, center), and I have dug a few others over the years, including two script A types, 2nd and 3rd Regiment, a 1st regiment with eagle and cannon, and a British Artillery from the period (bottom).
