was out this morning. Nothing found to write home about.
Came home and Lay'd my Detector on the couch.

Was siting in the computer about 2PM & heard My Detector Coming on/
Shutting Down ? over & over ?

Battery Bars were full

messed with it a little, was running smooth. Shut it down and walked over to my Computer.
Detector lit up again

Removed my AA battery Pack

Put in Rechargeable, I just Unplugged from the wall this morning.
turned it on, it Shut down. then turned itself on & shut down.
Message on screen said something about battery Being completely dead.
Took battery out, Detector Turned on without battery ,
Message battery stone dead then Shut down again.

Put fresh AA's in and faught with it few seconds, And reset settings & shut it off.

Been off now for 4 hours, Hopefully I was wrong on it being off earlier
when I lay'd it on the couch. and that
dying Batteries caused all the Havoc. Strange on the fresh Charged
Rechargeable Though

Wrong time of year to Send it away.

Need to Mow Grass in the Morning, Perhaps I'll get a chance tomorrow afternoon to run My yard with it once I recover from mowing the Grass.

anyone else ever Experience this type on/off Havoc ?

looks like you got a virus you need to get some detector anti virus grease....rub it all over your detector and wrap it in waxed paper and tie with zip ties. leave it in the shed as not to infect any live stock. after 3 days remove the waxed paper and clean off the grease and leave in a warm dark place for about an hour.
just to be sure you should play some led zeppelin while doing the dished in bare feet. and slay a goat, chicken and mouse while drinking home-brew.

if this all fails call a priest.

yea still waiting to hear from the repair center about mailing it for repair.

I've heard some saying how fast and cheap they were for them.
am hoping the same here.

hate the thought of trying to find a used one worth buying.
but don't want to up- or downgrade .

I want to stick with an SE

Yes on attempting it.
When I push on the on Button it lights the screen for a second then the light goes off

Screen Just Shows Minelab Logo
& the Words Serious Detecting

But is Dark

Goes no Farther

Well, After trying 2 New sets of Batteries, & Trying to
Get it on long enough to do a Factory Reset it started working again.

I re-Entered my Personal Preferences, Pulled the Batteries & now I may need to wait a week to
Try it Out

good chance Gonna be Wet here for 2 Days then 90's for the Next 5



Don't know if I'll be able to Squeak an Early Morning Hunt in or Not Yet.

If it continues to work, I may try Removing the Battery Pack at the end of Each Hunt,
To prevent it from Pushing Power & trying to Turn itself on When it should be off

Yup! learned it in the tube days! Had an old Pelco that'd pick up "Wolfman Jack" XERB - AM. If that didn't freak you out when searching abandoned houses nothing would!!!!!
