I am an avid arrowhead hunter and my farm has an old village site on it. I was looking this morning and came across a few crazy rocks that I have never seen here before. The first pic is I think a fossil of some sort, and the others are of a wierd quartz crystal and oxidized metal of some sort. Im not a geologist and I primaraly only keep native artifacts, but these seemed different than all the other rocks I've found here. It is crazy that I found these where most of my artifacts are found. Maybe the Native Americans had used them for something? Found in S.W. Iowa. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't see any fossil myself.
Wish I could I.D. the stones for you.
All I can say is they both look like conglomerate type stones to me..the first one with alot of iron ore in it and possibly copper in the second quartzite piece.

Nope. The first rock appears to be a conglomerate. And the second one has gypsum.
