Nags Head North Carolina

Im down here this week doing some detecting but I am in south Nags Head were they did the beach nourishment. Anyone here ever have luck in this area or would it be better to move somewhere the beach hasnt been filled in?

I have never gotten skunked down there but decided to hunt in KDH and Kitty Hawk this year because of all the recently added sand. Did ok with clad targets. I usually hunted from Juncos St beach access. Best of luck!
