I dug this minnie today in a Union camp that I've been working.Two ringer, .560-.570 diameter,.975 long.Any ideals?Thanks!

It's a sharps carbine.

I've dug 20-30 .58 three ringers with the hollow base from this camp.This is the only two ringer with a solid base,so far.Just seemed out of place.

The sharps were issued to Cavalry and sharpshooters primarily
It's a period bullet from the same encampment
So it doesn't seem out of place at all to me!
