Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I do a fair amount of metal detecting out in the desert. It's important to get the coil as close to the ground for a strong signal. I have built a bunch of different diggers over the last few years. This one is the latest and works the best. I took a long handle square shovel and a pry bar , cut them apart and welded them back together to build it.

It has a 47 lbs pull magnet.

The magnet is protected by a 2'' square ring . The sides keep the dirt on the blade as I dig deeper,

I'm leaving up to you guys to give it a name.

WoW you all have come up good names for the digger . Thanks to every one of you for the input ! So far I like Prymadig the best .
HH  Extractor

Looks to me that you use it one way as a pick and the other like a hoe.
No push/shovel motion just a chopping and pull/scraping motion.
With the rocky earth I can see why. Looks good for that.
Must have a lot of iron to need the magnet.
Nice spider graphics, but pink? Uh, whatever...
I like the "prymadig" also.

Looks like a Tomahock to me
