Anyone interested in doing some metal detecting in SW Florida? Not real experienced, finally have some time to get out. I noticed some beach replenishment going on last year near Vanderbilt. do you think they screen that sand before spreading it on the beach?

YES! So clean you will think detector is turned off. About every 30 min I run past sand scoop to make sure still working. Did you have any luck?

Another yes here, too. And they do not only clean the NEW sand. Here in my area all the designated bathing beaches are cleaned.
Wouldn't belive it if I did it not see myself.😔😪

I see where they dump that stuff at Vanderbilt beach. Always thought about scaling that fence with my detector.
