Cant help you with which regiment it is but I can tell you it is a VERY NICE find! The only ones that I have ever seen are from the American CiviL War. Great Job!

The french had those long/tall hat for a while

im from england but live in italy,on the uk sites its been noted that the cannons dont cross in the usual way,also theres suspension loops at the ends of the cannons,yet a plate for mounting on the back, so a bit of a mystery,ive looked online but cant find anything similar.maybe it was on a leather bag or something
