Is there no other news? National? International?
Perusing the "major" news sources, CNN, FOX, etc., it appears that nothing else is happening in the world.
"Hurricane on the Atlantic coast of the U.S. EVERYONE PANIC!"
"Obama is in the FEMA Bunker! Directing operations!"
Just like Bush during Katrina.
I'm sick of the "main stream" media!
Meh, so much for "news coverage."
Perhaps it does effect (and affect) a few but what about the other 99.99% of the world?
This is what politicians dream of to deflect stories and coverage that pertain to their shortcomings.
(Especially with an election looming....)

PS. I do not wish to turn this into a political discourse; I merely want to show that this, as a "news priority
story" of "If It Bleeds, It Leads" type of "journalism" that is typical of what you will find
within the "mainstream" media coverage. Ad nauseum!
I pray that all as a result effected (and affected) of the hurricane are safe and will come out OK.
