Very Odd I cannot find Nashiville anywhere not even in Korea.

I wonder if Someone repainted it Wrong, Or if it as made in Korea & because of
that, They misspelled it.

There have been all types of Police associations since the 1800's.

But at this point I'm wondering if it's a re-purposed fantasy Piece

It's a stumper...it is very well made and is a quality piece but fantasy piece is seeming more likely...

the center piece looks more Professionally Painted then the

NASHIVILE SHERIFF CLUB SEOUL KOREA does .

Example: The E's if Professionally Created should be Identical

not.webp

If anything Can be found, it would probably be by the Horse/HorseShoe & maybe Sheriff's Association

Not thin and not mounted on cork. It's heavy brass and the back is plain brass with the clasp.

No clue what the history is...thats why it's posted here. The item itself was bought at a yard sale this morning.

I'm Confident Seoul Korea & Nashiville are later additions

what was originall Under Them I don't Know.

I'm Confident also Sheriff is Original & Club May be original Also.

Look at the E Close up in Sheriff.

rounded.webp

It's Perfect compared to the Other two

& the C & B in Club Look pretty well done.

I wonder if it as a carnival Piece where they put what You want in the other 2 Spots

Some kind of fantasy badge, or salesman's sample, or prop/Halloween badge. Very dorky for sure! Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)

salesman's sample :icon_thumleft:

I never thought of That.

Very Possible !

But the Co. Should have Known Horse shoes go with the Top Open.
Unless it was done on Purpose to Prevent Counterfeiting Sheriffs Badges

There is a Nashville pub in Seoul. Maybe this is some type of souvenir from it?

They also used an upside down horseshoe as a logo, apparently.

My brother teaches English in Daejeon South Korea. I asked him what he thought and his initial thought was from some sort of themed motel, restaurant, bar or brothel. Now that you guys have found a pub in Seoul called that I'd say you are on the right track. I'll have to tell him to try and check it out next time he is in Seoul.
