Saturday, May 18, 2013 will be the date to celebrate the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] annual National Metal Detecting Day. "Minelabbers" young and old, new and experienced, who will come from near and far to join together to celebrate this fantastic hobby! The events will have special hunts, giveaways, prizes, and are sure to make it a fun-filled day for the entire family!

The Saturday events will include Author Gary Drayton talking about Detecting.

# of Hunters:
Saturday: over 200 hunters
Sunday: about 150 hunters

Last year i attended one of the Saturday hunts and had a blast. Though I couldn't stay, the event was well organized and well attended. I wish i could have hunted all weekend at the event. I'm sure this year will be even better.
