National Training Center Ft Irwin California

For the month of February and thru the 13th of March i picked up 58.13 in change! I found some of it on the ground and some more in the tents and buildings while the Brigade was in the field.

Total count is as follows:
7.98 pennies
3.55 nickels
18.60 dimes
27.00 quarters
1.00 paper bill

2 Wheaties
1 Canadian penny

Not bad for my last trip to Ft Irwin!

I forgot to say that I didn't have my MD with me. All of this i found laying on top of the ground or in the tents.

Were you stationed there or rotating for training? I was there back in 82 and 83

Thanks. I was there for a training rotation. This was my 5th trip if my memory is correct. My last trip was in '94 and it has changed a lot in that period. I can only imagine what the difference is in 50 years!

I found this change just lying around after the Companies had left for the field. I was in charge of the "Rear" as this was my last trip out there as I retire in April
