Howdy,

Posted this in the American Indian forum, but no one had any real idea as to what tribe or age it might me. I am posting here to see if anyone is familiar with this design or beading technique. The bag is about 7" long and 3.5" wide and is made of exceedingly thin leather that is getting stiff with age. It has a few tears on the top and some beading coming off in spots. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I don't think it is south, western culture... I know just enough about Native American culture and accessory's to get me in trouble.
There is a slight possibility it is a craft item. The colors are red, white and blue. I would look more to the Central Tribes.
Just an idea. Not an anwser. Do you have any history on it at all? The tribes of Louisiana are not noted for bead work.
