Nautilus takes the GNRS trophy for the fourth straight time!

Congrats to Team Nautilus!

Team Nautilus is a group of about 12-15 diggers who were selected at random by the owners of the Nautilus web site to compete with their DMCs in a head-to-head relic hunt shootout with other diggers using their respective brand of detector (Tejon's, Explorer II's, etc.). The competition is held once a year.

After a three day hunt at a real CW site (no seedings), the finds are tallied and a winner is announced. As of this week Team Nautilus has won it for four straight years.

Nautilus detectors are serious machines. It took me some time to get used to the sounds coming into two different ears depending what it was. I like the TR feature too, having use TR's in the past.

So you used to swing a Naughty eh? By your comments it sounds like you had one of the older models?

Nautilus has always been a good deep machine but the IIB and IIBa are super deep. I just love using this machine for land hunting. In fact, I'd say it's the first detector I've ever used that I felt completely happy with.
