Went back today to the only field site I have left that's huntable and decided to wander around in the 110 acres to see if I could come across a new hotspot or at least make a random find or 2. Even though this is a mid-1600s site, just about everything I dug today was CW period. Best finds were a cruddy navy coat button and a nice little 3 cent silver. Hope to make it back for another hunt or 2 before the farmer plants, which I'm told could be any day now.

Some great finds there, even though it's not from the 1600's I am sure any one of us would be happy with them.

Congrats on that 3cent piece, I have yet to find one.

A lot of targets there Bill including some several silvers! They can't all be hammered :icon_pirat:

Would love to see a close-up of the 3 cent and that nickel...nice... :icon_thumright:

Lets see that 3 cent! Good job

It's an 1852 which is nice as the 3 or 4 others I have are all 1853.
