Nice points! We have some Virginia/Carolina collectors who should be able to ID the types. It strikes me that the top one may be a Guilford point.

Nice finds Binman. I agree on Guilford for the first, second one may be a Southampton or maybe a Kirk? jmo

Nice job on the points.
The pictures are fine too!

The first is a "Guilford Yuma", the second a "Rowan", both Early Archaic. Looks like you have found yourself an Early Archaic site, which in my books is the best of the Archaic sites, with it being oldest. Around 8,000BC.
NC "Rowans" have the characteristics of the one aricle being slightly lower than the other. Very easy to learn this type.
And the "Yuma" being broader than all the other "Guilfords"..
As for lithics, the Rowan is rhyolite, unsure whether the Yuma is..would have to see it closer, prolly is though.
I would be pleased with those Barry. Congrats sweetheart..

...thanks to all for responding...molly the "yuma" is granular material kinda dark grey with some specs of white(quartz maybe?)...maybe from "morrow mtn"?...the "rowan" is definitely rhyolite...have you made your move back "home" yet?...

The Yuma would be Quartz then. That grainny Quartz must have been difficult to work with. I do have a nice purple grainny Quartz kirk though. not in great condition, its broke but would have been a beauty. Personal find.
Barry, the Rhyolite was the material they brought from Morrow Mt hon. There are Quartz mines out there. I have only seen them by photo's, there is a guy on here that posted pics a while back. seems Quartz mines? were pretty comon there.
Nope, I aint back yet. It's killing me too cause I know those fields are tilled ready for tobbacco, my fave hunting time. As long has I get back before Fall alls good though..

Molly.
